If your appeal has been dismissed you may be able to make an application for an order requiring the us to reconsider the appeal decision, on the grounds it made an error of law. If your appeal has been allowed the Home Office may apply for a review of the decision in the same way. If we order a reconsideration of the appeal there will be a new hearing date set.
An application for review must be made within 5 days of receiving the determination if you are in the United Kingdom, or 28 days if you are outside the UK.
You must send your application for a review or your AIT 4 application for permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal or Court of Session either by post to:
Asylum and Immigration TribunalFax 0116 249 4214
For fast track cases, the form needs to be sent to whichever Detention Centre you are at. The addresses are:
Harmondsworth AIT Hearing centreFax 0208 750 7771
Yarlswood AIT Hearing centreFax 0123 422 4411
If your appeal is allowed and the Home Office make no review application, the Home Office will issue the necessary documents to you, either directly (if you are in the UK) or through the Embassy (if you are outside the UK).
